reinventing the repertoire
The piano trio repertoire is among classical music’s richest, with its long tradition of great works for the past two centuries. The three of us share a vision of keeping this tradition alive, for it to be experienced in a fresh, personal and visceral way, and to achieve this, it is important to us to continually reimagine and reinvent the repertoire. By reinventing, we approach masterpieces as if they were newly written. We seek out hidden gems among lesser known works to bring them to life and we expand the scope of what a piano trio can do by creating new transcriptions in our Stolen Music project.
